Applying a car wax is the basic of paint protection. Waxing your car paint is important. This protects the clearcoat against UV Rays and external environmental aggressions. This is the most cost-effective protection for your car paint. However, a wax does not last long. Regular waxes last 3-4 washes. However, though time, synthetic waxes have evolved and now can last up to 6-9 months or around 10,000kms

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer, basically liquified glass which is applied by hand to form a layer of protection film where applied. Ceramic coatings can last up to 12 years depending on quality of the product and the quality of the preparation done before application. Ceramic coatings are however for costly than a regular wax but lasts for years. The perfect solution for the clean freak who does not have time. A ceramic coating basically helps to slow ageing, eases of cleaning, and keeps the “new car shine” for a longer period. Worth the investment.

Paint Protection Film is a transparent film applied in areas of a vehicle which are subject to external aggressions. PPF is a useful barrier against stone chips, sand, road debris and winter salt. However, PPF is very costly and requires advanced skills for cutting and installation. PPF is advised for countries where roads are contaminated with rocks or advised for powerful cars used at high speed or track days. The perfect delaying tactic for repaint.
